This document sets forth the sales and warranty terms and conditions. Please review this information prior to placing an order.

Ordering from Mazur Instruments

Mazur Instruments accept orders online at MazurInstruments.com  currently only from organizations and individuals within the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan.  Organizations and individuals located in countries that are not listed above are welcome to contact Mazur Instruments directly to determine if purchasing arrangements can be made.  

Product Availability

Processing of your order is subject to product availability.  Mazur Instruments will make every effort to update its web site and indicate when product is temporarily unavailable. If an item is currently not in stock, Mazur Instruments will contact the party placing the order by telephone or Email with an updated delivery date and will provide customers with the option of cancelling the order, prior to shipment.

International Ordering Information

The online ordering system is open to all individuals and organizations located outside of the United States in Canada, Europe and Japan provided orders can be paid for with a major credit card.

End Use Statement

In order to comply with United States export regulations, Mazur Instruments requires the completion of an End Use Statement.  The End Use Statement available here:

Once the PDF file is opened, the user can complete the form directly within Acrobat, printing and signing.  The user can also print the form out and complete it manually. All questions must be answered and the form must contain an original signature.  Please review the form for completeness.  Incomplete forms will not be accepted.  Orders will not ship until a complete form is received.

Once the form is completed and signed, please fax the form to Mazur Instruments at +1.303.496.6000.  Alternately, scan the signed form and Email it to Mazur Instruments.

Import Tax, Duty and Customs Fees

The customer is responsible for payment of any and all taxes, duties, and fees related to the import of products shipped from Mazur Instruments into customer’s country.

Currency

All prices listed are in US Dollars (USD) and all payments must be made in the currency of the United States, the US Dollar (USD).

Online orders require payment by PayPal which accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express. 

Sales Tax

Mazur Instruments will charge the appropriate state sales tax for transactions within the State of Colorado.

Transaction Date

Your credit card will be charged at the time of your order.


Shipping Information

Carriers

Standard shipping method for orders within the 48 contiguous United States is via either the United States Postal Service or UPS Ground.  Upon request, we will also ship via UPS 1-day, UPS 2-day, UPS 3-day, Fed Ex Overnight, Fed Ex 2nd Day, or USPS Express.

FOB Castle Rock, Colorado, USA

All shipments are FOB Castle Rock, Colorado, USA.  The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this website transfers to you, the customer, when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier by Mazur Instruments.

Shipment Date

Orders are typically shipped either on the same business day as receipt of order (if the order is received prior to 12:00 noon Mountain Time) or on the next business day following receipt of order (if the order is received after 12:00 noon Mountain Time).  Occasionally, shipment will occur on the same day even if the order is received after 12:00 noon Mountain Time.

Expedited shipping and handling is available.  Contact Mazur Instruments for additional detail.  If there is material delay in order shipment, Mazur Instruments will contact customer by telephone and/or Email to inform customer of the anticipated shipment date and to provide customer with the option of cancelling the order if customer determines the shipping date is unacceptable.

Shipping and Handling Fees

Shipping and handling costs will be presented to customer during online checkout.  International Shipping prices will vary and will be provided to the customer during online checkout. 

Order Cancellation

Prior to finalizing an order during the online order process, the customer will be presented with a summary of the transaction and given the option to cancel or to place the order.   After the transaction has been completed, order cancellation may be possible if customer contacts Mazur Instruments by telephone prior to 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time on the scheduled shipment day.  Any cancellation that is requested after the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier by Mazur Instruments will be considered a Return and will be subject to the Return Policy below.

Complaints or Disputes

If an error has been made on an order placed at this web site, please contact Mazur Instruments immediately by telephone at 303-325-7463. If you have a complaint regarding your order, or a dispute regarding the transaction, please contact Mazur Instruments in writing at:

Every effort will be made to remedy complaints as expeditiously as possible.

Return Policy

Mazur Instruments will accept customer’s instrument back for exchange or refund if all of the following conditions are met:

i) The instrument is received at Mazur Instruments in pristine (new and unused) condition, and ii) the instrument is accompanied by the manual and any related calibration documentation, and iii) the instrument is accompanied by the original sales receipt or invoice, and iv) the instrument is received at Mazur Instruments within 30 days of the date of purchase.

Returned instruments must be packaged in accordance with proper shipping practices to assure that the instrument is protected during shipment.  Returned instruments should be shipped to:

Restrictions & Limitations:

i) Mazur Instruments will not, under any circumstances, accept an instrument that has been contaminated by radioactive materials.

ii) All instruments returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

iii) The customer is responsible for all shipping costs and handling fees associated with the return of an instrument to Mazur Instruments for an exchange or refund.


LIMITED WARRANTY

WARRANTOR: Mazur Instruments, 200 South Wilcox Street #448, Castle Rock, Colorado, 80104, USA

ELEMENTS OF WARRANTY: Mazur Instruments warrants for 120 days the Geiger-Mueller tube and for one year all materials and craftsmanship in the PRM-7000, PRM-8000 and/or PRM-9000 to be free from all defects with only the limitations set out below.

WARRANTY DURATION: The warranty shall terminate and be of no further effect one year (120 days on the Geiger-Mueller tube) after the original date of purchase of the product or at the time the product is:

a) Damaged or not maintained as is reasonable or necessary, b) modified, c) repaired by someone other than the warrantor for a defect or malfunction covered by this Warranty, d) contaminated with radioactive materials, or e) used in a manner or purpose for which the instrument was not intended or contrary to Mazur Instruments instructions. This warranty does not apply to any PRM-7000, PRM-8000 and/or PRM-9000 that has been subjected to corrosive elements, misuse, abuse, or neglect.

STATEMENT OF REMEDY: In the event that the product does not conform to the warranty at any time while this warranty is effective, Mazur Instruments will repair the defect and return the instrument to customer without charge for parts or labor.  If customer is located within the continental United States, Mazur Instruments will return the instrument with pre-paid shipping.  Customers outside of the continental United States will be responsible for the shipping charges and any other related fees associated with Mazur Instruments returning the instrument to the customer after warranty service.

NOTE: While the product will be remedied under this warranty without charge, this warranty does not cover or provide for the reimbursement or payment of incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or the inability to use the PRM-7000, PRM-8000 and/or PRM-9000.

The liability of the company arising out of the supplying of this instrument, or its use, whether on warranties or otherwise, shall not in any case exceed the cost of correcting defects in the instrument, and after the said one year (120 days on the Geiger-Mueller tube) period all such liability shall terminate. Any implied warranty is limited to the duration of the written warranty.

PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING PERFORMANCE OF WARRANTY: In the event that the product does not conform to this warranty, please Email, call or write to the address above.  Mazur Instruments will not accept contaminated instruments for repair under warranty or otherwise.

NOTE: Before using the PRM-7000, PRM-8000 and/or PRM-9000 for the detection, measurement and monitoring of nuclear radiation, the user must determine the suitability of the product for their intended use.  The user assumes all risk and liability connected with such use.
